About the International University of Monaco
Founded in 1986, the International University of Monaco (IUM) celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026. Over the past four decades, the university has established itself as an international business school specializing in sectors closely aligned with Monaco’s economy, including finance, luxury, sustainability, sport business management, and international management.

Today, IUM is home to approximately 1,200 students from around the world enrolled across its Bachelor, Master of Science (MSc), MBA, and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs. While the university has grown significantly over the years, it has preserved the close-knit, multicultural learning environment that remains central to its educational approach.
The Monaco MBA has held AMBA accreditation since 2005, reflecting its long-standing commitment to international standards in MBA education. In 2026, IUM successfully renewed its AACSB accreditation for another six-year term, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
